About the Program

This degree completion program is offered in partnership with Gloucester County College and is intended for students who have completed their Associate’s degree and wish to pursue the Bachelor of Arts in Law & Justice. The Rowan University Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Law & Justice (LAWJ) degree offers students solid academic preparation in criminal law and the criminal justice system with an interdisciplinary approach to coursework that enhances critical thinking, reasoning, writing, and logic skills. It prepares students for professional careers in four major areas: law enforcement and security services, court services, corrections, and human services. The program also offers students the rigorous preparation necessary to eventually pursue graduate studies and professional school programs. Curriculum

Rowan University requires the completion of 120 semester hours of approved general education and major coursework in order to graduate with a bachelor’s degree. The B.A. in Law & Justice degree completion program is a full-time program that provides students with 60 of the required semester hours. It is possible to complete the program in approximately 4 to 5 consecutive semesters.

Coursework (Program Semester Hours: 60)

The B.A. in Law & Justice degree completion program is offered in a blended format with up to 50% of the courses offered face-to-face on the campus of Gloucester County College and approximately 50% offered online. The following courses comprise the 60 semester hours provided by the degree completion program. Students will work with an advisor to evaluate eligible transfer credits and determine their entire degree program.
