Professional Experience: Born, raised, and educated in La Plata, Argentina, Dr. Sosa has 20 years of combined experience as an educator, researcher, and academic leader and administrator. Prior to joining Rowan in 2006, he was a faculty member in the College of Engineering at Drexel University, where he taught close to twenty different undergraduate and graduate courses in engineering, physics, and applied mathematics; published over 70 archival articles and generated over $2.5 million dollars in research grants. He has been a visiting professor at universities in Japan, Spain and Argentina, and was awarded with fellowships from Argentina's National Commission for Atomic Energy, Spain's Ministry of Education, NATO's Collaborative Council, and Fulbright. During the period 2002-2006, Dr. Sosa served (successively) as associate dean, senior associate dean, and acting dean of Drexel's Goodwin College of Professional Studies, where his responsibilities included curriculum development, faculty recruiting, strategic planning, and governing policies and procedures.
Current Responsibilities: The dean is responsible for leading and overseeing the day-to-day operation of the college, including academic, marketing, outreach, and budgeting matters.

Professional Experience: Prior to joining Rowan University, Dr. Pourkay served as a professor of engineering management, applied mathematics, and control systems at Widener University, Penn State (Great Valley) University, and Drexel University. He was also a full time faculty of mechanical engineering at Drexel University, from 1989 to 1995, where he devoted time to teaching, research and course development. Dr. Pourkay worked at Philadelphia International Airport for 13 years, and he is expert in aviation studies, airport planning, and development of airport facilities.
Prior to his Ph.D. studies, Dr. Pourkay worked as a Project Manger in oil industry for 6 years at Shell Oil Company in Tehran, Iran. In that position he designed, developed, and managed large-scale projects to build, enhance, and renew several plant facilities for the oil refinery.
Current Responsibilities: Dr. Pourkay is an Assistant Professor at Rowan University, where he develops and teaches courses in the area of Engineering Management. He is also the Coordinator of Special Initiatives for the College of Graduate & Continuing Education, to expand and develop the curriculum in new educational areas.

Professional Experience: Liz Seville possesses more than twenty years of experience in finance and administration for Rowan University.
Current Responsibilities: Presently, Liz is responsible for managing financial budgets and human resource issues, monitoring fiscal operations, and providing analysis and financial reporting for CGCE. She also acts as primary liaison for the College including close interaction and coordination of activities with numerous internal and external departments, agencies, and individuals. Liz formerly served as the Treasurer for the Women's Professional Network of Rowan University. The Women's Professional Network is affiliated with the American Council on Education (ACE) and the New Jersey ACE Network and the Office of Women in Higher Education (OWHE).

Professional Experience: Rebecca has 20 years of higher education experience in admissions, advising, alumni programming, event planning, curriculum development, academic program coordination/implementation, and student services. Rebecca has served as an Academic Advisor at the high school, undergraduate and graduate levels and has functioned as an independent educational consultant. As a high school counselor and independent consultant, Rebecca authored a College Counseling Resource Guide for high school seniors and parents. Rebecca's experience also includes her time with the University of Chicago during which she directed the new student Orientation and testing programs, and developed the freshman year-long transition program. She also served as an Assistant Director of Undergraduate Admissions for five years, and was a recipient of the University of Chicago's Howell Murray Alumni Award for Service to the College. Before coming to Rowan, Rebecca served for almost six years as the Director of Graduate Admissions and Associate Dean for the Graduate School at Columbia College Chicago. She has been an active member of several professional organizations including NACAC, NAGAP, NODA, NACADA, UCEA, NAASS, and AACRAO.
Current Responsibilities: As Assistant Dean of CGCE, Rebecca assists the Dean with special projects and initiatives and is responsible for all official policy in the CGCE credit-bearing division including the coordination of Rowan's CGCE/graduate-level catalog, the college-wide academic review process, and any graduate/CGCE-related guides, handbooks and manuals. As the leader of Academic Services, Rebecca also manages the development and ongoing implementation of all CGCE programs and courses including oversight of CGCE Extension courses and scheduling. In addition, Rebecca coordinates Rowan's 4+1 programs, administers Rowan's summer semester and intersession, and works with any outside parties/partners to create and deliver customized Rowan courses through CGCE as needed.

Professional Experience: Prior to joining CGCE in February, 2010, Christopher spent over four years in the Office of the Registrar at Rowan University, working in various capacities (enrollment, transfer credit evaluation, student system automation) with students, faculty and staff. Christopher graduated Summa Cum Laude from Rowan University with a B.A. in History in 2005 and was awarded the Gary Hunter Excellence in History Medallion Award, as well as the Lawson J. Brown Senior Scholarship Medallion Award – 4.0 GPA.
Current Responsibilities: As the Coordinator of CGCE Extension Course Logistics, Christopher is responsible for facilitating the creation and maintenance of all non-traditional courses offered through the College of Graduate & Continuing Education. He also assists the Academic Services team with other projects including the unique logistics related to the delivery of summer and intersession as well as ongoing reporting and data research.

Professional Experience: Prior to joining the College of Graduate & Continuing Education, Cristine spent close to four years at Drexel University in Philadelphia, working in both an administrative capacity and later as a student academic advisor. She also spent 2 years teaching high school history in New Jersey before pursuing a career in higher education.
Current Responsibilities: As the Coordinator of CGCE Academic Services, Cristine is responsible for working with the annual updates to the CGCE Catalog as well as any other campus documents/websites that address CGCE programs and/or CGCE-related policy. She also coordinates Program Overviews and Master Schedules (where applicable) for all CGCE Extension and Traditional programs and leads the Academic Services team with the coordination of the CGCE minimum academic progress reviews each term for all Rowan post-bac and graduate students. In addition, Cristine is the Academic Services student liaison, working directly with our AEL graduate honor society, our Graduate Student Organization (GS0), and other student-related initiatives and projects, including our Summer Student Advisory Board.

Current Responsibilities: As the Receptionist, Jennifer's primary responsibility is to manage the front desk for the Office of the Assistant Dean & Academic Services - handling incoming phone calls as well as processing CGCE mail. In addition, as a member of the Academic Services team, Jennifer assists with a variety of projects including the 4+1 processing, as well as performing general clerical duties.

Current Responsibilities: Elizabeth Regan-Butts oversees all activities and personnel within the CGCE Division of Marketing & Recruitment. She develops, implements, and evaluates marketing and recruitment strategies to establish and enhance the visibility and reputation of the College of Graduate & Continuing Education (CGCE) and its programs as well as Summer Semester. Elizabeth also manages the internal and external resources related to promotional development, inquiry/lead generation, student recruitment management, and the College's internet presence.

She joined Rowan in 2001 as an Assistant Director in University Marketing where she developed and implemented marketing campaigns for various academic departments. Working with the Office of Admissions, Ms. Markel established a comprehensive system for collecting and managing prospective student data and responding to information requests. Prior to joining Rowan, she worked in marketing communications for a mortgage corporation as a copywriter, marketing coordinator and database analyst. Her journalism experience includes news writing for television, and reporting for radio and newspaper.
Current Responsibilities: Ms. Markel currently manages the prospective student database and email communications for the College of Graduate and Continuing Education. She also assists with the College's advertising, branding and direct marketing initiatives.
